Here are the results of the
VtES Jyhad Draft tournament that took place during the
Week of Nightmares 2009 on 01/Oct/2009. The draft was done with 5
Jyhad booster packs (with 19 cards each) per player. The interesting thing was that the cards were to be played as printed. To name a few examples: a "
Hawg" has a press
each turn, "
Enchant Kindred" has no inherent +1 stealth on superior and "
Mob Connections" can be used to provide a press to continue in combat where none of your minions is involved.

I would have liked to seen if Fame was abused in that format. It was one of the biggest, stupidest Jyhad-text issues.

Also surprised Fame wasn't mentioned in the original texts since it is so different than today (harder to abuse in draft than in constructed though).

The examples that were named were just the examples we encountered during the tournament. Since there was no abundance of Fame or Day Operation it wasn't a question at hand. (Daring the Dawn was introduced in the Sabbat expansion).
